These tools provide features to process uploaded images by adjusting JPG quality, resolution, also if you want manually, you can use third party tool such as jpeg compressor or even converting them to webp format. any new feature on J5 or extension which will allow images uploaded (from articles uploaded by users) to be processed so as to downsize it ?
Example change the JPG quality, resolution etc... so that in front-end, visitors don't have long waiting time. Or even better, convert the image (JPG, Tiff or whatever) to 'webp' file.
